I’ve done a few exit interviews and most of the time if the job just turned into shit I’d already spent a great deal of time and effort attempting to remedy the problem. They asked most of these questions every time and every time I was as honest as possible without burning any bridges (but damned if I didn’t want to

Anyone else notice Samus up there?

My step-brother worked for these jokers in another state many years back. At least his store and local chain got caught doing all sorts of scams. Like filling every single car with 5W30 non-synthetic regardless of spec. And using toilet bowl cleaning tablets to mix up blue windshield juice.

These are like Jedi Mind Tricks. They work on weak minded, possibly panicky people. But anyone who has acquired skill with negotiating will know the manipulative questions like this. Which isn’t to say these tricks are not effective on experienced negotiators. They’re just not nearly as potent.

I really wanted to read this, but it’s so poorly written that I just can’t follow one sentence. ugh...

Soul Blazer. That brings back memories. A lot of memories... Loved it. Did not know, however, that it was in any way connected to Illusion of Gaia, which I also absolutely loved. Played every one on this list save for the Wii and Genesis games (never really got into Brave Fencer, but eh). I’d glowingly endorse them

Thus “sorta”

If they lie to you and don’t disclose it on inspections and forms and whatnot, there’s hell to pay. Sorta..

I worked with healthcare insurance for 4 years in MN (working for a clinic system, on the patients’ side). All the points here are spot on. Missing a few things, though.

That’s insane. INSANE. My wife worked for.. a financIal iNstitute or somethinG a while back. During that time she had some hard-ass managers that were terrible to people that didn’t suck up. They’d give their 2 buddies 1/100 of the work load and then make other 8 do the other 99% and when they didn’t hit the marks,

While I’d never want to go to an interview at 7pm or 6am, I’ve found that you can get a good idea for at least when HR or your dept is around by asking if you can do something later in the afternoon. Mostly because when I’m on the hunt I don’t tell my employers, and I’d rather not take half days to go to interviews..

I worked for a place that gave shit for PTO, and asked a lot of the salaried engineers. But that came back around with some good flexibility when you needed to lean upon it. I worked remotely for 40 hours of my vacation so that I could take some more time off but still be out of state. If you worked more than 45 in

Long as they’re not playing real-life Tropico...

Well, if they only had the standard meeples, probably went pretty quick. I imagine that at this scale it was probably more difficult to keep track of who usurped what in those crazy complicated cities. Planting a farmer would probably be a throw-away since they’re relatively easy to box in when you’re playing an

Even if you had a map of the world to scale with the normal Ticket to Ride, it’s toddler stuff when compared to Empire Builder.

Was hoping this was stuff you could portion out for a five or ten days. (Right now I make breakfast sandwiches with wheat english muffins, eggs, and butcher breakfast sausage. Costs about $1.20 each and they freeze/reheat very well, but it’s getting old)

Sewer levels (water temples...) are always the worst. But they always gave you the biggest sense of relief when you finally GTFO

Carry your Hazmat suit and worry no more. It’ll be like a radiation rave and you’re the bell of the ball. Then shoot them.

Neither does the main character. They get a bit pissed when you talk about him, but other than that it’s business as usual.

The biggest problem with throwing out/contaminating milk is the mothers who had children with compromised/weakened immune systems. Literally the only thing our boy could have for the first two months was mom’s milk. Granted, I’d never have FLOWN with him while his immune system caught up... but it was a problem. TSA
