So... I’m guessing the editor was fired? Or perhaps this was edited by Bizarro Superman? I’m sure there was a lot of pressure to publish, but I don’t think there’s a single paragraph in this mess that isn’t riddled with grammatical errors.

Does “showing up” count? Because there have been a few first dates I’d like to take back, and it wasn’t my fault. :)
I was angrily agreeing. Saying that sooner or later we’ll see an article here or somewhere else saying “Know how much should you tip the stock boy at Wal-Mart for telling you hemorrhoid cream is in aisle 7.” Because they provided you a service, and by logic of the wait staff industry, they can’t afford to leave on…
Start setting prices to pay people a living wage. By the same logic you should be tipping everyone you meet at Walmart. None of the grunts can even afford health care. They’re not paid a living wage, either.
One of my few perfect 10 games of all time. Echoes was a 9.9 (got a bit annoyed by the backtracking in light/dark rooms here..), and Corruption hit 10 again. LOVE these games and I want my GCN back out of storage to play them through for the 20th time each. SO GOOD.
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
I quickly lost interest in Fable after the first one. I never felt like it delivered any new experiences across the series. That said, I’m surprised that this deep into development they just axed it... that’s crazy. I know a lot of people who love the franchise. I always thought that was one of the more compelling…
I’m saying that the writing is an integral part of the story. Maybe I have it wrong, but for continuity’s sake, the game sorta did it’s job. The writing was constant failure, even in context.
The codec ring from MGS on GCN is my ringtone.
An old coworker had that as his text notification. Every day “FUCK YOU, NAVI!!!”
Should almost add a second bubble after “Do you want the latest in-car technology” saying “Do you NEED..”. Otherwise just upgrade your phone and get a bluetooth speaker...
Thanks for posting these! Pretty typical fucked up past backstory I’m used to from Japan. But the fact that there’s a Japanese manga about the backstory doesn’t mean the rest of the world has been in any way exposed to it. And that doesn’t mean that Other M was (from a storyline standpoint) a good game...
Other M: Pretty good standalone game. Horrible fucking Metriod game. I enjoyed playing everything about it except for the weak ass Metroid storyline in it. And the stupid “find the evidence” rooms. Those were terrible. Get rid of those and I’ll say “Great standalone game”.
Jokes on YOU! My SNES turned green over the first 10 years or so. I have no idea what color it is now...
This works for me even up close to exhaustion. Which is annoying. I wake up, I look at the clock, I realize that even though I only got 5 hours, I could have had another 1-3 minutes. But, why not get out of bed now... I could do a few push ups while the coffee steeps in the press. God help me if I ever start waking up…
Getting fit at home an easy pain int he ass. It’s very difficult to want to get fit at home. Seriously, it’s hard to want to do anything when it’s so much easier to just fire up the video games or watch Netflix!
Gorgeous, hand-drawn sprites to big purple splotch that happens to be made of polygons. Yup, big jump there. There’s a reason Guilty Gear used hand-drawn sprites for so long. They’re often more beautiful, and in most cases, look better and are more aesthetically pleasing than anything in the 3d world.
For those of us (me) who don’t play all the gamez... Who the heck is Joel?
While informative, none of this was new information after having attended some of the classes in high school... around 15-20 years ago. Even back then we knew that with the advent of the internet and everything digital, that sooner or later everyone would be able to model your spending habits and find ways to exploit…
