Not right, actually. DOS is a type of attack, not an outcome of any system that might be attached to the system / service under attack.

I am not excluding the cars, they are the end goal. But I can't call it a Denial of Service when the service is the vector, just misused.

Its not denial of service if the service is not denied. The service, the ability to turn off the cars is operational, fully. Even after the attack, the service is not interrupted it is still working exactly as designed, and is operational.

One machine can be used for a DOS attack, A Distributed DOS is DDOS... But a Denial of Service attack involves flooding a service, as you mentioned.

Why would you Denial of Service attack one of these? I am talking about sending active kill commands. Not flooding some network.

I used to try and block exhausts of some of my cars. I have seen the exhaust melt snow, and shoot out snow balls.. But never stay there. But, plausible I guess.
