I’m super looking forward to getting home tonight and starting up a new file in VR. I had it and played it at launch on PS4 but now that I have a PCVR headset I bought the PC version just to play through it in VR. Looking forward to seeing everything that’s new.

Nome of it is needed to play the game. Nothing is locked away from you except costumes. You're complaining about nothing. You're also being extremely dumb about it.
It’s literally just premium costumes and maps you can buy from a store menu on the title screen. The actual game is the same but just with lots more features and content than back in the day.
What? You can buy skins and maps if you want them, the core game has more content than it did years ago. And if you still want to play the old version with the old mods, all that is still available.
