Maybe because of WHO will be implementing it? you honestly think any of the racist asshats at Homeland Security would enforce this across the board? Please.

Just remember, Apple said that if something was codified in law, they’d certainly turn over everything

...Naturalized citizens? That’s funny, I thought it was unconstitutional to discriminate among citizens based on national origin. Silly me!

All started with the PATRIOT Act that got passed through two administrations.

This is definitely targeted toward Brown immigrants as it fits in nicely with the ISIS scare propaganda the Trump administration is pushing. This won’t get as much coverage in the media because this policy may not be enforced on White immigrants.

Popovich Pops Off On Piss-Poor POTUS

Every other iteration of Star Trek (save for perhaps Enterprise) took the time to give a good explanation for something being different.

“but the Original Series no longer looks the part.”

The tech threw me off. Badly. Wild JJ-esque bridge interfaces, but shiny backlit unbrellas for transporter pads? And what’s with the sepia-toned ships? In fact, I didn’t see a single attractive ship in that entire montage. Often overlooked is the Trekkie’s love affair with the machine herself. Enterprises 1701 Prime

- Among the worst acting of any series.

It is hard for me to get through the first episode because all the fucking dutch angels are making me seasick.

The writing is just flat out horrible, the special effects are “very special” (I thought we’d learned lens flare is just digital poo smeared on the screen) but I keep coming back to the uninspired writing this shite is worse than most fan fiction.

The first hour was awful, not from a Trekkie perspective, but just as a hideous example of how not to do narration as well as acting and directing failures. Wouldn’t have mattered if they’d had cardboard sets instead of CGI or what the universe or canon was; it was damned near unwatchable, and did a godawful job of

Several Thoughts!

This takes place two years AFTER “The Cage” so Spock is ALREADY on the Enterprise.

So long as it exists behind the CBS All Access paywall while the rest of the world gets it via Netflix, I’ll pass.
