My memory may be fuzzy when it comes to older rifles but is that a Schmidt-Rubin rifle? It is a great rifle to own (I plan on buying one eventually), apparently not difficult to maintain - even for folks who aren’t firearm-savvy and isn’t expensive to purchase!

I remember watching the trailer and double-taking so hard that I thought I’d snap my own neck when I realized Lestat was recast with Stuart Townsend. The script was just....painful, which was sad considering Aaliyah made for a fine Queen Akasha.

Agreed! Also an Anne Rice fan as well. Cruise was perfect as Lestat, and actually the rest of the cast was pretty awesome too. Really wish they’d kept the same cast for the sequel, I think we’d have had a pretty good adaption of the Vampire Chronicles on the big screen.

It’s fascinating to watch! Different muscle groups are optimized for different sports/activities, which is why a UFC fighter may have higher endurance for the octagon but fail at playing tennis (which can take hours)

Oh sure, I don’t mean to imply he was to end up in bigger movies by famous directors but that in the context of the martial art movie industry I think he deserved a little better. :p

So true, hygiene upkeep is all-important. I didn’t include rope or even any other necessities mainly because the original commenter mentioned “weapons for self defense”....though staying clean is a form of self defense against bacteria lol.
