It’s difficult to state all my favourites and some of them have already been listed such as the A-10 and the SR-71, so I have to toss in this bad boy:

Must be fun to swap out engines for the hell of it. :D
I think - and I might be wrong here - the General Mayhem was kept as a personal vehicle for Freiburger, just like the Ranchero was Mrs. Finnegan’s vehicle and kind of a familial heirloom.
I was kind of bummed to see the Kart in the shape that it was. Hopefully most of the rust was just surface rust and it’s still able to shred tires. Both of the Roadkill guys did mention how they kind of left most of their project cars out there to “rot” more or less. Love the show anyway! :D
What is the parts availability/maintenance like for those Gen Supras? I know I’ll not find a MkIV cheap enough to own, but was really curious about the MK.II & III’s. Haven’t seen any in my area in a long, long time. :(
You hit the nail on the head with your post! I’ve been a huge fan of the Gen 1 - 4 Pontiacs, especially the Gen 4 Firebirds, and although it was saddening to see Pontiac put out cars that drew more yawns than stares in their final years, I have to say the GTO was a badass wolf in sheep’s clothing. Still am considering…
I saw a used ‘90 Nissan 300ZX for sale in the upper $7,000 range and was considering purchasing one but am somewhat hesitant as I’m not sure about parts availability, nor am I so sure about the maintenance costs. I’ve seen a couple of these being driven though in my area, and they aren’t terrible looking cars,…
I’m a somebody who actually was born in 1980! haha... I recall reading the Ushio no Tora manga but for some reason, was it not unfinished? Or possibly I never quite finished reading it as I think I did. Can’t get into most of the anime listed here, I’ve mostly stuck to anime with serious storylines which usually…
That was my dad x1000! LOL ...although my mother was more like the Annie Oakley of Any-Item-Within-Reach-That-Can-Be-Thrown-At-You. I could withstand mom’s beatings, but my dad? Damn...it took puberty + a handful of years before my dad decided to back down from giving a beatdown. GOOD TIMES. :D
No sir, I assure you that this car will make a turn so wide that it’ll make a semi tractor-trailer truck proud to be it’s fathe—- Aw hell, who am I kiddin’...these cars need the Ol Yeller treatment.
Hahaha @ Maple leaf stickers on roof-mounted tire. CANADIAN TIRE, GET IT? My eyes rolled so hard, I may need to go to the hospital. This car is the most Canadian thing to ever Canadian. Whatever that means!
Ditto on the 4th gen ‘Stang, was in high school back when it was out (and the whole “Fast & Furious” car culture hit the fan), and am not a fan of that body. It did have some popularity, but not so much as the Accords and Civics of the time. Granted, I did like the 4th gen Camaros and Firebirds within that era.
I am uncertain towards the fate of the CRX, but the Stingray did get to warm its tires on the road again. “Masculinity points” aside, both were great cars in their own right. :D
Back in the early 90’s, we had a neighbor who drove a 1990 Honda CRX (he was a college student at the time) and while it was a tidy little hatchback, it didn’t really net him any...uh...man-points. Fast forward two years later and his father shows up one day for his son’s birthday and gifts him his own ‘76 Corvette…
Haha lovin’ the speedometer on that bird! I totally agree with you and think it applies to most vehicles from the 50’s - 60’s, as each car seems to have been built with great attention to detail and elegance. Definitely a class unto themselves.
Don’tcha worry about them cots, ya can sleep on that, I guarantee it!
I think the biggest problem with Anti-Vaxxers in the U.S. (and wherever else) is that these parents have not seen firsthand what not vaccinating your children exposes them to. All it takes is a simple Google search and you can see examples across the world, and it’s horrific!
Too much midichlorians, man....too much...
If Jalopnik ends up making Roadkill-esque videos....I think I’d quit my job and begin anew as a full-time couch potato! Roadkill is just awesome. :D
Definitely the 1998 - 2000 model Hyundai Elantra. I ran it in Photoshop and fiddled with the photo a bit to clear it up where it stands out more:
