The movie isn’t as bad as everyone loves to hate on. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t Oscar-worthy (yet so few films ever are!) but for what it was? An original Sci-Fi film featuring gorgeous visuals and thematically-related to the first Matrix movie - it did its job well.

I really do think Jon Bernthal’s a fairly versatile and underrated actor and the short-lived Frank Darabont series, Mob City, had Jon playing as Joe Teague - which some folks may remember as Josh Brolin’s character from the Gangster Squad movie - an almost Punisher-like character towards the end.
