Awesome article Doug! I’m not a Jalopnik regular, nor am I a car enthusiast per se....but between you and Tavarish’s articles, I’ve quickly become a fan and have learned a ton of information about cars that I’d never get anywhere else! So thank you guys so much for that!

I’ve seen a couple of Teslas out here in Maryland already and the existing vehicular demographic being what it is...yeah I could see Tesla doing pretty well here! Roads are well populated with Prius’ (Prii?), Leafs and other “green” cars. Saw so many of ‘em today in fact, I thought there was a new gang in town. Got

I went to visit my grandmother in India when I was 10 and her neighbor's son (also 10) was getting driving lessons from his family. Went along for a ride with them and was stopped by a police officer. Instead of fining the family, arresting anyone for letting a TEN YEAR OLD drive.....the officer asked for a 50 rupee

I've lived in both the U.S. and Montreal and most States within the U.S. have different methods (if any, as some States have no snowfall at all!) of snow removal/collection. In example in Maryland during 2003, we had a big blizzard and the best our County did was send a few bulldozers out to clear a path along the

Haha..funny thing though is that Quebecois French is far closer to the French that was spoken in France during the 1800's! To me Quebecois sounds far more "country" like than Parisian French.

Didn't know about the app, thanks for posting it! I've had help too from some of the snow truck drivers too a few times while removing snow that piled up around my car after one of the snow plows went by. People were I lived were also pretty nice to one another when it came to helping each other with removing snow; it

Oh hell no. That noise is just the devil's own voice. I've been woken up by it as early as 5:30am, sometimes 6am...just...ugh...! But gotta get out there and move my car if I don't want a ticket or worse! :(

This is exactly the kind of car I fell in love with during my high school years and is what I'm in the market for now that I am leaving behind my '99 Ford Explorer for something sportier! So far I've got my eye on 4th Gen Trans Ams and/or a 4th Gen Camaro Z28! Absolutely agree with you that everyone should own an

THIS is a true gamer's setup right here folks. Surrounded by the warm, loving miasma of CRT radiation (pre-Energy Star standard era of course.) You've not gamed until your eyes have bled from playing Wolfenstein 3D - not that remake! - but the original! The best! The glorio—

I used to play the hell out of AvP 1 on MPlayer back in the day, primarily as a bug. I have to agree, it is hands-down the greatest multiplayer gaming experience I've had to date. While that is subjective, it had a lot of elements going for it that made it unique.

Geez....first I overspend on 70% proof suntan lotion, now I've gotta worry about teeth. FML. :'(

Ugh...didn't think about that one. Good call!

On hot summer days, I like to pretend I'm a Titan and charge towards a playground full of kids whilst shouting "BLLLAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGHHH!".....some days I can even get away with it without being arrested. :D

I propose we start building gargantuan walls to prevent the surviving humans from seeing the next Bay films.

Damnit! This is how WW3 starts, isn't it...

I am hoping for a female assassin along the lines of (or from) the Assassin's Creed: Embers short film. The young asian girl that trained with an older Ezio Auditore while hiding from some mysterious organization.

Augmented Reality, huh... well I can't wait for our own version of Sword Art Online! Minus having your mind trapped in the virtual reality environ for an indeterminate length of time, of course.

Yet only MarionBarry Pie will get ya re-elected despite a drug scandal!

It'd be ironic (and hilarious) if someone threw a book at him for his racist comment. For the sake of literal literature, of course!

I was born and raised in D.C. and I second the the ranking. The reason that there are a ton of accidents in D.C. is due to the architecture of the city itself. Compared to the rest of the metropolis (Virginia, Maryland), the streets of D.C. are very SMALL. I'm talking a single lane that fits the width of your vehicle j
