Odie? Odie.
That makes sense, but it was still very enjoyable as an anime adaptation. So despite ending up adapting so much material into so few episodes, I say they did a great job nonetheless! Same goes for any book/comic book-to-animation/live action format when the source material has so much content to adapt.
100% agreed!
I mentioned elsewhere in this thread that I stopped watching after halfway into Season 2. Still irks me when I think about how they handled the Boone character, as I felt he was our (the audience) main human connection and epitomized our human disdain for changes (in the show's case, Aliens and their mysterious ways).
I loved this series so much when it first aired, especially the Boone character. Offing Boone at the end of season 1 was almost enough of a shock for me to nearly stop watching. Upon Liam's introduction in Season 2, I too liked where the story was headed but when I realized Boone wasn't coming back I stopped watching…
It has always been a part of me..
I think it's Ursula from The Little Mermaid lol
So what we have here is a perfect idea for your next major book sensation! Hear me out:
I feel like that is something I gladly missed out on watching on the Discovery Channel.
In other news:
I really do like this updated version of Godzilla! If the trailer is indicative of anything then I am crossing my fingers that this is not yet another adaptation of the original 1954 film as per the 2000 Godzilla one. By that I mean I'm hoping Big G survives at the end!
The starring role(s) in these new SW movies will be the lightsaber lens flares. :(
So....basically....
You forgot the most important one! The japanese Yuki-Sadako-onna! This type of malevolent spirit appears only if you haven't changed your summer tires into winter ones. True story! Video proof! Watch must!
All hail our robotic stop-motion god!
The Skeksis traumatized me as a kid! Traumatiiiiiiiiiiiiiiized meeeeeeee....!
Since your mind is on anime at the moment... best anime fantasy movie?
That giant bird in this film scared the hell out of me as a kid. Also I just realized quite a bunch of these fantasy films from the 80's (and older) had some scary ass creatures in 'em!
Agreed x1 million!
