While some of the base models were a bit underwhelming, once you got past the base small block things started to get crazy. Its well known that the Hemi mopars' and big blocks from the Big 4 of the time were way... way underrated to keep insurance costs down. Not to mention that these motors weren't as much Hp kings

Now playing

There are so many others that should have been in that #2 spot. It may be powerful but its still way to expensive and way to luxury to be a muscle car.

And Just because an idiot says the sky is green doesn't make the sky green.

No, that's not a muscle car and never has been. Never in my 28 years of life have I ever head of a WRX or an STI or an EVO or anything of the like be refereed to as a muscle car. Do yourself a favor and Google "muscle car", go to images and scroll down, then call me in a month when you finally reach a result that

The post doesn't stipulate that but the definition of a muscle car does. Just because you want something to be. Muscle car doesn't mean you get to alter the definition of something to suit your desires. Muscle cars were factory mid to large family based coupes with RWD and high power V8's. They started in the 60's

No, Muscle cars are not just cars injected with some muscle. Muscle cars are affordable, medium to full size, RWD!, family based coupes given factory V8 treatments for the benefits of straight line performance. The Plymouth Roadrunner is a muscle car, a riced out tuner Camry is not, no matter how much HP it has.

The suggestions being listed only serve to prove that even car guys don't have a clue what a proper muscle car is. I'm nominating one of my favorites, the Ford Fairlane thunderbolt with the High Rise 427 it officially produced 425hp, but like most muscle cars of the era, that number was listed much lower than actual

Where do you guys think I got my dinner.... I still ave a couple left and an 18 rack of gansett if anyone wants to join...

That's because its not meant to compete with the corvette. The corvette is a sports car, or the athletic equivalent of a soccer player, speedy handles well and has great endurance. The Challenger is muscle car or the athletic equivalent of a rugby player, more specifically the Front row, they may not be the fastest

God Bless America Indeed!

Rt.1 can be bad but 128 will eat your soul. I used to drive from Waltham to Walpole and the fastest I would ever get up to was 25. Unless there is construction 495 is cake compared to 128 or 95.

Yeah that ones a tough one, the big issue with exit 9 is it's a high speed exit you could transition from 95 to rt.1 at full speed if you knew what you were doing. Its possible at night but this guy was trying to pull his shenanigans at rush hour....

Neither, that's Dedham. Close though.... this happened at ex.9 in Sharon/Walpole

I'm at no point bragging, this is more of sharing a mistake for others benefit, please read the whole thing. What I did was wrong and I think I made my admission of that clear.

Another one of my favorites:

A knife is one thing, and I'll admit all day that pulling it out in this situation was a mistake, but brandishing a Firearm in public is just plain wrong. That is worse than looking down the barrel, keeping your finger on the trigger and those nutters in Texas walking around with AR's strung to there back like morons.

Thanks, to be honest I've never read and of the Adventures of Tintin.

Thanks, I now have a new FB profile pic. Can I ask what this is from? Popeye?

I don't leave home without it. Some smooth pipe tobacco and good jazz makes the ride home from work after a long day that much better.

Add beard and pipe , subtract hat and change accents and yes, that's me.
