Who needs sway bars anyway

I'm sorry you had to sell you XJ today Man, you will miss her terribly, but there is cause for hope. There are many XJ's out there and one of them will have your name on it again. Hell you may even decide to go full on TANK and get an SJ. My jeep was really the only good thing I had in my life until I sold it, and

This thread is the business, awesome jeep, and awesome information!

I think our Jeeps would have gotten along nicely

Yeah, that was the joke.

I never broke any sway bar mounts in my XJ...........

I can completely understand the mentality and love for Imprezas but at the end of the day I don't understand how it beat the XJ. It has been proven time and again that the XJ is capable of anything, not just stuff off the paved road. From camping, family vacations, road trips, commuting, rock crawling, autocross,

My one question for you sir, have you even driven an XJ because everything you said sounds like you either have no clue what your talking about or rode in the worst condition XJ on the planet. I have born witness to the Cherokee being not only tougher than nails, but pretty quick. Not only that but a XJ just beat out

They are a fixture in the grassroots Motor sports 20xx challenge. Check out the most recent coverage. They came in first in the autocross part of the competition and it cost less than $2013 dollars to build. Beating e30's and fox bodies.

I never replicated top gears tests exactly l but I did drive mine into a couple of trees, got rear ended twice, jumped countless times, drove through two rivers and scaled a waterfall and caught it on fire on top of daily driving it 100 miles daily to work.

I always enjoyed the ride in mine , it wasn't a Cadillac, but it was never bad either.

I could write a book about the indestructible reliabily and resourcefulness of the XJ Jeep cherokee, but I'm on my phone and still trying to make an impression at my new job. But it can do everything from scale a mountai n , race across a desert, take a family on a vacation and race a road corse. There is nothing this

This was nearly 6 years ago.... is this linked somewhere? I did a writeup on my trip with pics on oppo after I went 5ish years ago.

Like a GOD!

Like a GOD!

It's even cheeper to modify a cherokee to do a lot more than what the impreza is capable of. And you could say the same thing about the modification rates on cherokee. You see a lot more done up Cherokees than you will imprezas, even in VT!

If the cherokee looses to the impreza I'll be amazed and extremely dissapointed. How can you say no to this!

This is a pretty loaded question. First if were are talking over all, I would say that the best pickup manufacturer, all time would be Ford. Up until the newest models Ford have always made some of my favorite pickup trucks, From the 1976 F-100 of which my brother just purchased to the Raptor. Recently however and

This is what I have been shouting about since this was released!! What did people expect it's based off an alfa hatchback!! A fwd based independent suspension system is incredibly complicated and not tolerant of the added stresses that a applied when lifting. Not to mention the amount of parts required and the cost.
