Truck Driver - "I'm my own BOSS!"

I finally bought an older car. I've never known quite what to get and originally bought a 69 Malibu Convertible. But after deciding the rust was going to be too big of an issue I settled on a 1976 BMW 2002. It is awesome and is going to be a great car to restore.

They try to think these things our so that people aren't backing up into other cars accidentally... but still there are people who drive unintentionally forward through glass buildings daily.

I agree. I really like it and thought it looked unique, but apparently it is forgettable. My favorite was the boxy rear end on it.

I'm enjoying all the dull looking cars. Nothing glitzy to hold your attention.

Funny rendering. I like that there are still wheel wells.

I realize it isn't as simple as that. But they are cutting them a check with part of that $3 billion to research, another to produce, and then one to everyone who buys a Volt. So it isn't directly all going to GM, but there is a very large chunk of it making it to GM some way.

Whats your problem, Dawg?

Oh, good point. I suppose the technology will trickle down to other cars. I wonder if because it is federally funded tech if it will be open to others to use. GM would get the benefit of first dibs at using the tech and then others can copy the blueprints. That I would be much more okay with, but still not in

That $3 billion number is what is so amazing. The fact that our government is paying out that much money for a private company to make a car is just absurd. I just find it a little disconcerting to think the government is trying to create a market instead of letting the consumers decide if they want a car like the

MANUALSRULEBRO!

What, this unbelievable spin that Jalop has put on the story you don't buy?

Hmm, I interpreted his note on Leno's wall to be more like he was asking him the best route to sell his car. He might have thought that Leno deals with these transactions fairly regularly and that he might be a good resource to ask on how to do such a thing.

Haha, I typed nearly this exact thing, and then scrolled down to see someone made the same comment.

If that picture is an advertisement for that product, they lost a customer right here.

Uhh, the cheap knock offs can be bent in half with your bare hands. It is amazing how much a generic and a Gerber or Leathermen differ.

It is a "December that you will never Forget" event that you will be paying for the next 10 years. Thanks honey, now I owe $400 payments on a car I didn't want.

INORITE!?

Balls.. straight up smoked it into that tree. My brothers DUI and things like make me freak out about drunk driving. Rightly so I suppose.
