I always find it weird why so few games explores nature and playing as animals. There has been some, but it feels like it has so much potential for of crazy survival games and open world type games.
It was so good that they showed it to us twice.

Ugh....sigh....
How is this series even still running? It was fun the first two times, and I’ve heard the ship one was good too, but it’s not like this is Final Fantasy or anything.
Plenty of people hated it, the cranky combat mechanics and uneven pacing were arguably the reasons the game wasn’t a huge(r) hit. You should really give the American Nightmare a try if you haven’t already, the gameplay is infinitely more enjoyable and it’s much less linear.
I think I was one of the few that didn’t love Alan Wake’s gameplay. The movement felt kind of janky and frustrating to me, and I didn’t like the lack of variety in the enemies. I’m hopeful Quantum Break will sort of fix this for me.
