Aw, now I am missing my piggies like crazy. Cute costumes, but my pigs would've nibbled on the fabric. Or peed in them.

I am desperately trying to avoid hopping in the car right now and returning with every guinea they have.
I, for one, am tired of looking for shirts that aren't made of uber-thin fabric to the point of being sheer. I just want a shirt I can wear by itself, not a shirt that needs to be paired with another shirt and/or cami. Especially when you can't always tell just how sheer the fabric will be right away.
How do you deal with a scatterbrained boss? Mine doesn't seem to pay much attention to what I tell her (I've said almost identical things at various meetings and nothing seems to stick) and rarely responds to emails in a timely fashion. Now, I've been scheduled to work on two days that I have repeatedly said I…
I'm in a similar boat as well (graduated in January and now balancing two part-time jobs) so you're definitely not alone. You don't mention if you took out private or government loans, but there may be ways to either temporarily reduce your payments until you start earning more or defer again (though you're likely…
Ohh, that's quite close! Thank you!
Got an appointment for a haircut next Friday, and I am so pumped. My hair is about two inches past my shoulders right now, but the layers have mostly grown out. I have a fairly clear idea about what I want: Cut so it just skims over my shoulder, with plenty of layers so I can get a decent amount of volume and bring…
Lady Gaga- Dance in the Dark and Telephone. The latter was especially apt from 09-11 when I worked in a call center.
Anyone else sometimes put on hand lotion and then realize you have to pee?
I love fall the most. I have SAD, but generally that doesn't kick in til after Christmas. I pretty much turn into Gollum during the winter (both due to SAD and because driving in the snow makes me really nervous). That said, I really can't stand hot weather after while. I hate feeling all sweaty if I'm outside for…
I was once dumped after dinner at a super-fancy restaurant. He picked the place, and paid even though I offered to go halves. I think maybe in part he knew this was it for us and maybe he took me there out of guilt? But then, I kept wondering why he'd bothered dropping all that cash just to dump me a few hours later.
Just replying to say that I can relate to feeling the need to make things work. The last time I had my heart broken, I KNEW deep down things were unraveling, but I felt like if I was extra accommodating, things would improve. Surprise, surprise, I was constantly stressed and he kept pulling away. The breakup still…
Seriously. If he had added "If you see a position for which you are qualified in the future, feel free to apply again. Best of luck with your future endeavors" I would have screamed. Can you at least ACT like I meant something to you at some point?
"I am no longer inclined take this in a romantic direction anymore." It was the clinical way he said it that really got to me. Like the kind of impersonal rejection emails you get when you apply for a job. Sure, it's very likely he was trying to put it as nicely as possible, but in a way he went so far into the other…
My brother is getting married in July, with about 20 guests attending the actual ceremony in Niagara falls. But they're also planning a bigger party/cookout in August to celebrate with everyone.
I think the specifics really depend on what the weather is like and what exactly you'll be doing. In general, I usually pick my outfits based on how I feel wearing them rather than what I think the date might prefer. I want to feel confident and gorgeous, so I opt for the pieces that make me feel that way.
Happy Sunday, Jezzies! I was rather cranky most of the day (mostly work-related stresses) so I've been thinking about vacations. Next year I'll finally be getting paid vacation days, and it's occurred to me that there's a chance I could fulfilled one of my life goals by taking a class at Second City in Chicago. I'd…
Jokes like that are very hard to pull off.
Somewhat low-rise, bootcut jeans are my favorite, and I was super sad the last few times I went to the mall and couldn't find very many in my size. I'm at the point where if I find them, I might just start hoarding them like a fashion doomsday prepper.
