That’s something that’s hard to not notice, how rich people in general seem to have much poorer taste now compared to the past. You see it in many areas, cars, art, architecture, they all have such mundane, pedestrian tastes.

It’s like when Reagan used Springsteen and was told to knock it off because he totally didn’t even understand the meaning behind his music. Or when any Republican uses music, the artists always tell them to stop. And here I thought Republicans were supposed to respect property rights.
I have watched some of the newer episodes of the American and English one, and you are correct, it’s still full of nice furniture, random paintings, and porcelain. If anything the English one has leaned harder into newer things. I still love the father and son porcelain duo, Harry and John Sandon, their pure,…
Oof, that is a depressing reality we are heading towards. Fine crafted goods replaced by cheap work meant to last a few years at best. My only hope is that if all this older stuff is going out of fashion, maybe, just maybe, deals can be had for quality pieces from people who don’t appreciate it. Even the mass produced…
It’s goanna make me sound like an old fuddy duddy, but this is why I like the older episodes of antiques roadshow. I like seeing old furniture, dinner sets, porcelain, other knick knacks, but have no interest in this new crop of “antiques” like this or some piece of technology from the 80's.
I have my genesis somewhere in the house, maybe it’s time to give it a go and see if age has wisened me top the game.
That’s what’s great about smaller piece count sets, screw paying high prices and brick them out for cheap.

My old Honda 214 from the 80s, from before they changed the motor to something less powerful and sturdy, will outlast the heat death of the universe at this point. Sure, I’ll get an electric to replace it when it dies, but I don’t think that day will ever come.
Yeah where are these people, the grass here would be sky high and since I have a bayou behind the fence, full of snakes lurking.
I have a Honda 214 from the 80's that starts up with an easy tug of the strong, the thing will be around still kicking when the sun finally explodes.
So it’s fine to jack off in a theatre but not a subway car.
I like how British production just go for open casting regardless of race in a lot of stage productions, get the best person for the job. This, on the other hand, reminds me of blood quotas from Louisiana being applied to history or something. It’s a pulpy television show, just enjoy the fluff without having to change…
They gotta have some Rob Zombie music on the show.
Fuck that schoolboard and get paid.
People with 4090's and 5900x are reporting that the game chugs hard and struggles to maintain decent frames at 1440. If a 4090 isn’t enough at 1440, the problem is the game.
