That’s something that’s hard to not notice, how rich people in general seem to have much poorer taste now compared to the past. You see it in many areas, cars, art, architecture, they all have such mundane, pedestrian tastes.

It’s goanna make me sound like an old fuddy duddy, but this is why I like the older episodes of antiques roadshow. I like seeing old furniture, dinner sets, porcelain, other knick knacks, but have no interest in this new crop of “antiques” like this or some piece of technology from the 80's.
