The “FPS issues in console mode” is just the result of porting Zelda. The connectivity issues with the controllers are pretty basic— try not to run a bunch of crap between the controllers and the unit. I fail to see the doom and gloom in these.

Or you can just spend $340-$360 for a Switch and a game, and just detach the JoyCons so you have two controllers. Wow! Amazing!
I think uploading hacked Pokemon is a bit different, but regardless, it’s pretty obvious that they’re going to need a way to transfer data between units, and that they’re going to allow it in some way or capacity. They are building the network(or already have), but I wager much like how bare-bones the OS is at the…
The irony of this is not only have both MSFT and Sony have major hacks hit them(especially Sony, who very much gave out free games twice because of it), but Nintendo’s defenses were taken so seriously that the same folks who hacked the crap out of Sony, barely managed to change the page header on Nintendo’s main site.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the solution/compromise is having cloud storage, with part of the eventual monthly fee going toward that. If they can automatically check and verify the integrity of game files, wouldn’t that solve the issue the 3DS has?
Definitely. It’s funny that whereas usually any actor playing a manufactured “cool” character either goes on to have some amazing career or otherwise get sort of typecast, but holy damn, Masterson just immediately dropped off the radar.
I am in full support of making sure Skrillex’s career dies and we all pretend dubstep was never a thing, ever.
The best since Maria+Holic, perhaps?
What killed the PSP Go wasn’t a lack of functionality, it was the fact that most of its library wasn’t available to play on it, since it removed the UMD drive and went digital-only at a time before Sony mandated dual-format.
Sega actually did have talks with Microsoft about having the Xbox run Dreamcast games in a sort of straightforward cross-compatibility, but they fell through. Of course, running on a similar OS and with specs that matched well, it was very easy to just port games over. That was a really beautiful thing about that gen,…
And yet the Alpha series remains popular.
You can switch his outfit after a bit of play to his Alpha incarnation, though sadly you do have to put up with his awful “new” look in the Story Modes.
I hate doing this, but the N64 was actually the most powerful console of its generation. It’s biggest shortcoming was just in limited cartridge space, forcing textures to be incredibly small and compressed. On paper, it pushed 200k polys per second compared to the PS1's 300k per second, however the N64's was with…
Basically, get this because it’s incredible and amazing and beautiful, then also go grab Xenoblade X to see some of BotW’s roots in terms of scale and exploration.
The biggest issues are pretty much three:
I feel like fashion really sort of slowed down from about 2003 to today; other than what you’d find at fashion shows and maybe some subcultures losing popularity, it seems to me that very little has changed. A lot of the most radical shifts seemed to happen during the 90's, when you go from the hypercolor and end of…
I think it depends on the era or series for Nomura-- for example, his design for Aya Brea(not to mention artwork) is incredibly beautiful and very much realistic, even his 3rd Birthday outfits...well, except maybe the one where Aya’s jeans completely separate and they remain on her calves as leggings.
There was craptons of potential, but then someone shit the bed and didn’t pay attention when they made Lucy into a triple agent just so they could try and out-Metal Gear Metal Gear. And then of course, trying to make more reasons to play as Ezio, pushing Desmond aside and finally opting to kill him off for zero good…
He was pretty clearly mixed/not-totally-white, which was partly why “Oh your other ancestor is Italian” was supposed to be a bit of a surprise.
Hopefully they get rid of it soon enough. I’d be far more willing to spend my time and money if I didn’t have the shortest commercial loop on endless repeat, and constant pressure on the staff to try and get me to pre-order a planet of games. Being able to relax, discuss games I might enjoy, and having the choice to…
