You know how Contra is a huge blast to play in co-op since you feel like buddies? RE5 is pretty much just like that. The story is boring as hell, Chris Roidfield is ridiculous, and you punch a fucking bolder to death, but the ride itself is incredible, the controls are natural after a short time, and even the QTEs…

I’ll always love the settings of the first three games, and greatly enjoy sitting and watching them— but never really playing. I couldn’t stand the tank walking then, and still can’t now. It’s not tense for me, but rather annoying.

If you’re making a perma-permadeath game so you can put it in some art exhibit and make a statement on mortality and how we throw away virtual lives, so on and so forth interior semiotics, cool. But if you’re actually trying to do that AND make a game that’ll continue to be enjoyed, umm...you’re doing it wrong.

I’ve heard that Xenogears(as in the Gear itself) is making an appearance, and from Soraya Saga herself no less. That definitely cements this as a must-buy.

You do want to be careful though, since foam isn’t as durable and will also use up more paint. Of course, if you’re doing stuff like small areas and furniture, you should hopefully have more than enough for coverage.

I would love to play this version, or at least see it in action! The original Rayman is one of my favorite(and brutally hard) platformers, and while I love the newer ones, they’re much too zoomed-out for me.

-shrug- For me it’s fine, but apparently I acclimate to steroscopic 3D and even VR like it’s nothing, so I don’t get eye strain even after a full day.
