The greatest production value in a podcast for me is the speaker’s voice, cadence, and engagement with the material. Fall of Rome started out a little rough but you definitely found your groove a few episodes in. I’ve been enjoying it and I’ll certainly give the new podcast a try.

The monuments definitely have to go. I don’t know what you two have against blankets though.

Is this group of Vacation Dads at the bar the new Banana Boat crew?

Don’t listen to this guy. I’ll do it for half.

I don’t disagree with you - and this reply is also for others in the greys mentioning Martin. The premise of the article isn’t about where the coaches grew up or played. The premise is about changing jobs within the Midwest and cherry picking examples to show some kind of Midwestern insularity. My reply is just

I realized it’s by the intern so maybe we shouldn’t be so rough. On the other hand, I’m surprised one of the editors didn’t question the premise.

Cherry picking a low scoring Big Ten game from 2012 doesn’t make any point about the conference as a whole. UNC scored 43 points in one game this year. Explain the Costco angle for us non-Costco buying neophytes.

The down side to that is key fobs are expensive.

I don’t remember this part of chemistry class.

The Shield, Sons of Anarchy, Justified, FARGO!, American Horror Story, The Americans, Rescue Me, Nip/Tuck... just keep hitting it out of the park with high quality shows.

FX has had amazing shows for at least the last decade. Love me some FX.

The trick to the foot wedge approach is not being very good at golf in the first place. Nobody complains about the foot wedge when your score is already going to be 100+.

Foot wedge is my favorite club. Extra benefit is no added strokes.

Conkers Bad Fur Day! Wow, I had forgotten about that one. Thanks for the memory.
