This movie looks like a blast, and I love the music choice (Kim Petras) for the trailer! I definitely am getting Heathers vibes from the trailer.

When I read Doctor Sleep on the novel’s release it instantly cemented itself as my favorite King novel (and I’m a huge Dark Tower fan), so I was pleased that Flanagan made such a solid adaptation that did pretty well by both the book version of The Shining and Doctor Sleep as well as honored Kubrick’s film.

I am at episode 4 of Usher right now, I am ok with it, except for its constant use of queer and/or kinky sex life as a marker of decadence. That bugs me.

They lost me after cancelling too many TV shows I liked (The OA, 1899, Chambers, The Midnight Club, etc..). Increasing the prices without reinvesting in quality content is not how they’ll convince me. I prefer to rent movies on “iTunes”, Microsoft Store, Google Store or the new “Sony Pictures Core” thingy...

People love to talk about Flanagan reusing many of the same actors in the projects but I think what I love most about his work is the deep sense of... I dunno... kindness... all of his stories somehow center on?
