No, it is not “false equivalency” when I call segregating movies (and other media) according to race segregation.

What you’re saying is edging dangerously close to telling pansexual identifiers they must identify as bisexual and there is no need for a new term.
And not all the negative baggage comes from outside the community.
I have met quite a few who vehemently reject transpeople, didn’t get into the specifics of differently-gendered people with them - and are very clear they are attracted to (cis) men, full stop, and (cis) women, full stop.
There no clear objective difference between bi and pan, it’s up to personal preference. Some people use both labels.
Pansexuality is valid, but Bisexuality has meant ‘two or more genders’, or ‘my gender and not my gender’ for a few decades now.
Traditionally Bisexuality actually had a stance of actively including attractions to trans and non binary people, since at least the 90s.
I identify as Bi because of the negative baggage. The baggage comes from outside the community, and I personally dislike the idea of having to change the way I describe myself because of bigoted people.
Also the official definition for Bisexuality has included attractions to non binary folks since the 90s.

I understand you.
False equivalency: it’s only ‘just as bad’ if white people and black people are treated equally and represented equally in media.
If it was as simple as asking, we’d have understood it more clearly a LONG time ago.
Oh my god, NO. This is so shitty. You don’t seem to know much if anything about autism at all. You know there are plenty of autistic novelists out there, right? Also, if you want insights into how autistic people think and process information, you can ask! There’s lots of autistic written information out there already.
I mean if it looks like this I’m all for it:
Well I wouldn’t know the specific reason, every person is different. There are multiple reasons they could be taking it.
If it helps, non binary doesn’t automatically mean aiming to appear completely androgynous.
Why? Disability advocates tend to prefer the word to other alternatives, although each individual of course has the final say as to how they are referred.
No, they are non binary and use they/them pronouns.
