Neuroscience is a sub-discipline of psychology.
Neuroscience is a sub-discipline of psychology.
Yes, every time this old chestnut rears its head I have to wonder whether the person spouting it knows a. the definition of a science and the scientific method, and b. anything at all about the field of psychology.
It’s not a question of it being physical but whether the psyche exists as anything other than some sort “after the fact” epiphenomena that simply comes along with the brains experience of the world.
You just described psychiatry, not psychology. The split between the two is specifically along the lines of physical underlying causes.
“Civilization” means living in cities. Which has implications for population density and sophistication of agriculture.
No “culture” has lasted that long either.
Which is why I stayed I was unaware of it. I could have just as easily acted like I did.
While you may not agree that what she did makes her a traitor, according to US law, she is.
Sure, one could argue that there are better ways to have done it.
I’m not sure what those would be, given the current propensity of the US government to punish whistleblowers rather than react to what the whistle is being blown on. but I’m not arguing that there was no better way whatsoever. Who knows?
You think she had any idea what she sending out?
War sucks. People die. Mistakes are made. There is no perfect military. It doesn’t exist.
Ah yes, the ‘crime’ of exposing war crimes. How dare she.
I’d argue she kept her oath to America. The people perpetrating and covering up murderous war crimes are those betraying their country.
Her ‘criminal actions’ were to uncover war crimes being committed in the name of the United States. How is that reprehensible, but the murder being covered up by the military not so?
I would consider her actions to be morally justified, and patriotic (rather than nationalistic) to boot.
Holding ones’ country to a high…
Uncovering war crimes does not a traitor make. There should be more ‘traitors’ around, human rights are more important than hollow patriotism.
“Instead of getting your back up, why not engage in conversation?”
We’re purely talking about age here. And yes, women tend to find a combination of neotonous and masculine features attractive in men, with a preference for roughly the same age or up to 5 years older.
The difference is based upon what the consumer wants
Men do tend to have a later shelf life, and it may seem unfair, but it is not sexism.
Yum! I have mine with crumbled feta and drizzled with chilli olive oil, also on sourdough.
