If this was any other company, I’d be inclined to agree, but considering that SwSh’s early trailers had some animation issues that were never fixed, I think people are right to be skeptical about Game Freak.

Anime characters exist in a weird space where they’re usually supposed to be Japanese but they look vaguely Caucasian, so who cares, really? For Cowboy Bebop specifically, I don’t think it matters. I would have picked someone taller, thinner and younger than John Cho for Spike, though.

I’d rather worried about the live-action Fay costume but it looks like they’ve done rather well on that score - tasteful while being vaguely reminiscent of the original.
