One day I’ll even be able to afford to leave town =)
It’s okay though, the cobwebs down there are great goth decor.

If the D in my vicinity were worthy of my V, I would be on that D in a minute or three. Unfortunately in Montgomery the prospects I see are the 7 Deadly D’s
Druggie
Dopey
Dirty
Ditzy
Daddy
Disparagy
and Southern Baptist.
A reversed vasectomy caused my aunt and uncles divorce quite a few years back. She got pregnant, he accused her of cheating because he had a vasectomy and he made her life ducking miserable. Baby was born, tests were done that proved it was his but at that point it was all ruined.
My mom started menopause at 32, was completed by 38. Her mom was in full menopause by 36. My dad’s mother and sisters were menopausal by their mid-thirties.
omg I had that dream with my first, that he was going to be triplets. At my ultrasound I kept asking are you SURE it’s just one? Turned out yes, just one. One ENORMOUS one.
FUCK! I’m 42 and I’m almost hyperventilating just thinking about this. I love my kids but I can’t imagine starting over now. I’m already fantasizing about what I will do with my freedom when the youngest leaves home in six years.
I always had super easy, super irregular periods pre-birth control. I wouldn’t have blinked until I went maybe 5 months. Now with birth control going 8 months is nothing. And as someone who’s also just gotten fat out of seemingly nowhere (I’m definitely not pregnant unless it's an elephant) I can definitely understand…
LMAO!! “Closing time, you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here...”
Right before menopause, I was horny all the time. It felt like my body was saying, “Last chance Texaco!”
Oh, it happens. My cousin (who was 44 at the time, same age my mom was when she went through menopause) had a “surprise” baby a couple of years ago.
I’m 42 and in the middle of Menopause right now. (im an early one! YAY!) I’m so nervous about getting pregnant and not knowing it because I haven’t had a period in about 6 months. MY EARLY DETECTION SERVICE IS GONE. I’ve just been randomly taking pregnancy tests.
How have I never seen this before?!? I LOVE IT! Thank you!
I haven’t slept with a man since Bush was in office and there is literally no way possible I could become accidentally pregnant—yet it crosses my mind ever. single. time.
I really do have a dying plum tree and my own old ovaries, btw:)
Jesus I’m gonna go have that thing removed before I get any older. The way my family goes, I may not hit menopause until 55 and I sure as fuck do not want to be pregnant then.
i have a friend pregnant at 51 with twins; no donor eggs, just fertilization pills. i’m 52 waiting for my meno to pause the hell already...
Same here. I hate it. Double the PMS misery and everything else.
I’m 46. I was at the doc for allergies recently, and she asked me for the date of my last menses. She ended up telling me she wanted to run a pregnancy test. Ok, doc! LOL! Sure!
My response will always be “sign me up for a speedy abortion, cause I’ve been trashed too many times and done too much hot yoga to birth whatever has set up shop in there”
This one’s a lot more understandable than the usual “didn’t know I was pregnant” story. Woman at a common age for menopause, had never been pregnant before, likely had multiple reasons for thinking she was infertile.
