Fair enough; I was referring to current film practices in which 24 FPS is much more comfortable for the viewer whereas something like 48 FPS is not, despite providing a "better" picture.
I thought playing soccer in the streets was dangerous... at least that's what my parents told me.
This guy looks a little ravenous...
Obviously. I was making a point, not actually proposing Michael Bay use the exact same models from a video game...
I was making a point rather than proposing this as an actual replacement...
VFX accomplishments are great for industry conventions but not necessarily entertainment.
Eh, I was referring to the difference between entertainment and simulation. Making something appear as it would (read: could) in real life is impressive but not necessarily entertaining. It's similar to the reason for using 24 FPS in film.
Thanks very much for the advice, especially regarding the various alterations! Sounds like I'll be going for the Light with similar options (puck mount? can't wait to track the RC :P).
Yup. The designs are SO complex and intricate that it's simply too much to discern. Part of making movies is not to make things look realistic but to make them feel realistic!
Yea, I've never understood the people who skimp on gear. "Oh, I don't plan on laying it down" they say. BS. Shit happens; better to be protected when it does. "Oh, I just paid all that money for a bike so I don't have much to spend on gear" they also say. I don't even know where to begin criticizing that one...…

Nice. Sounds like those forward rotated sleeves will solve my concern about a sport riding position!
They changed the timing (read: slowed down) of some clips from the original for the trailer. They unfortunately did the same thing for the OP; there's a moment at which a clip from the first episode is slowed down to coincide with the song, resulting in rough animation.
Netflix is only doing localization and distribution for North America; the show is originally by Polygon Pictures and features Japanese audio.
That's not cute; that's horrifying!
Did he pop the hood to make the car look more damaged? Such deviousness...
Sometimes fewer polygons are better. >.>
So, do the Quintessons make an appearance or are at least mentioned in detail? I saw in the trailer that a bad guy robot tells Optimus Prime something like "Do you think you were born? You were made!" and am worried that Michael Bay destroyed them (spiritually speaking).
Yea, no kidding about an Aerostich being a long-term purchase! They're plenty expensive but I've never heard a single complaint from others. Will definitely be springing for the chest and hip protection. Also, good recommendation on not settling for anything less than perfect with the fitment; I suppose the…
