How could you possibly forget the 787B? q.q

The topic is in regards to transfer of rights to digital content, which implies legal behavior. Digital Rights Management (DRM) is necessary for... management of digital rights. Regarding illicit behavior, DRM is like conventional forms of cybersecurity, such that the goal is not total mitigation but rather an

The cosplay is clearly based on Edge of Tomorrow rather than All You Need Is Kill.

Most gaming mice are ugly; there are few exceptions.

The question should not be whether a method of DRM is proper, but rather whether any method of DRM is proper. To put it another way, why should digital goods artificially mimic physical goods?

lol Yea... It was pretty disappointing to discover (after the fact). >.<

In that case, the ad was filmed in a single take sixty-seven times.

And that's why they're so popular! :P

Ah, that's a fair point; the ability to transfer rights to content with DRM only makes sense. A personal example of frustration is how Steam handles bundles; if you already own a title included in a bundle, you will not receive a second copy from buying the bundle and the price will not be prorated.

Contrary to popular opinion, I'm really looking forward to this bike. Sure, superbikes are cool, but they're a dime-a-dozen these days. Based on the description, this bike will be a real "Monster fighter"... Which isn't a bad thing at all! :D

It would be a mistake to confuse DCTs with traditional automatic transmissions... o.o

So, Notch basically made Goat Simulator with drastically less content... How novel. >.>

Presumably, they'd be happier transferring their content to the new client/service of their choice. o.o

No, because any such system would necessitate DRM.

You touched on a critical point: self-defense is different than actual combat. Whereas the intent of self-defense is survival, the intent of combat is complete defeat of the opponent, epitomized by killing. Blades are actually terrible self-defense weapons; though they are the best (close-quarters) combat weapon.

Your assumption is that the attacker is not competent with their weapon of choice, which is critically wrong; always assume your attacker is competent, if not more competent than yourself. For example, one does not attack with a bat or stick with a single blow; a proper attack will include multiple blows (ideally

Blades are the most effective weapon for lethal close-quarters combat, whereas something like Eskrima is far more effective for defensive (i.e. not necessarily lethal) close-quarters combat.

Never would have expected a Guinea Pig to be such a player... Clearly Randy is the Wilt Chamberlain of their species. :P
