Dave Chapelle can’t stand Jimmy Kimmel which makes this even more funny.

On the other hand, pre-gentrification NYC was actually affordable.
Counterpoint: Wild Things is awesome. That movie, like its lead character, was twenty times smarter than it let on, and it absolutely committed to the plan.
Yes, the time frame isn’t hammered home, but it’s contemporary: there are smart phones. There is also a side story about dreamers. FWIW, $96k is still a damn big deal to most people.
Unpopular opinion but I enjoyed In the Heights much more than Hamilton. May actually venture to a movie theater for this one.
I treat people with overeating and binge eating issues, and some of them are obese to the point at which they choose to get surgery. For some people, I think it’s actually a good choice, although it’s definitely not my first recommendation. But don’t get it twisted, surgery doesn’t magically make you into a…
Even though on the current PR there are now models of varying sizes walking the runway, whenever the designers get to choose which models they want to use, the thin ones always get picked first.
in a somewhat similar vein, a different blog on this site basically had people calling Will Smith’s efforts to lose pandemic weight “fatphobic”. whether it’s for health reasons or simple preference, whether it’s plastic surgery or tattoos, let people do what they want with their bodies! if they’re happy as they are,…
“To be clear, Ashley Nell Tipton doesn’t owe it to us to remain fat. But it does hurt a little when we lose another fat hero.”
Except doesn’t Julie Gardner’s statement contradict your last sentence? One would think that if this continued post-apology, she would have said that it continued through Children of Earth and Miracle Day.
If it was just the first two series of Torchwood, then “well into his Torchwood days” already happened before…
wait a minute...chris noth was in doctor who?
Most certainly, which is why I’m honestly trying to get things straight. It *seems* like this is some really weird sudden outrage against a person who by all other accounts (that we’ve seen/read about) has grown from the experience and become better from it.
Damn. I mean, it was 13 years ago, NO ONE involved felt it amounted to assault, and he apologized profusely?
Yeah, “in wake of allegations” seems to be stretching things a bit. This isn’t news to the BBC, the allegations were made well over a decade ago, and it seems to have been resolved then, too. As far as I can tell, this is more “in wake of a fresh reminder of a major embarrassment.”
Yeah, kinda thinking the same thing — if this article is accurate, it sounds like he learned the lesson a decade or so ago and is now being punished for it? I don’t really see the purpose of excising his role in this current project.
Okay, so let me see if I understand.
Just so I’m understanding: John Barrowman did some really crappy things in 2008 (and probably before). He was formally reprimanded. He apologized. He hasn’t done said crappy things since then. He is now being cut out of things due to these issues 13 years later.
I mean, I’ve been in a John Barrowman panel (or more than one?) where he laid down on the ground and had male audience members in kilts walk over him.
Is exposing himself on set great behavior? No. But, none of this should come as a sudden surprise to the BBC
Well, Christopher proved the old adage in this ep; good friends will help you move, but real ‘ride-or-dies’ will help you move a body.
I’ve always said that Pose is best consumed as a fairy tale about the ball scene and the transfeminine experience, and that “Once Upon a Time” sequence underscored this nicely.
