You mean, make it invisible for yourself?

Oh yes. That's one way of installing!

However, on some systems (like mine), the graphics card doesn't start up before the login screen. On those systems, the Ubuntu splash screen has a really large logo and looks really ugly.

Or... you can use the simplistic Windows bootloader, which is easy to set up, and it is just a simple, clean list when set up. It works only if you have Windows in the dual-boot, though.

No they shouldn't be. Period.

Here's what I currently have.

Getting a new, fast Internet connection today.

Booting from a CD is slow. And it's not persistent. I am a weekend user, and I still can't imagine working from a live CD.

Use mouthwash twice a day, and carry a little mouth spray everywhere. That's all you need to do.

Geek travel checklist:

Here's something (slightly off-topic) that will blow your mind:

I installed Ubuntu on two computers in the past four hours. And today, LH has two articles related to it. There's this one, and one about open-source. Are you doing targeted articles by spying on people or something? LOL.

I re-download stuff that I have bought. That may be for convenience. For example, I may be too lazy to search for a music CD, or I may have come on an international trip, leaving my CD at home.

In short:

@Kodo Sai: Computer hung up. That's why triple post. I couldn't remove them again.

@mattv888: Triple post was mistake. I couldn't see a way to remove them. My computer hung up on me.

Something that has loads of apps and is well documented. Like Android and iOS.

Can't think of anything.
