@gigawings: Wong Kar Wai, underrated? I guess it depends on which neck of the woods you live in, because here in France, he's probably the most famous living Asian director, apart maybe from Kitano.

@DJ Schway: You should check out this video: [www.giantbomb.com]
@Brian Ashcraft: Agreed. It's still my favourite Maggie Cheung movie - which is saying something considering her incredible resume.
If anyone still needed proof that Tim Schafer was a man of great creative taste... Costume Quest may not be the Chungking Express of gaming, but anyone who takes a cue from WKW* is all right — well, as long as that cue isn't My Blueberry Nights.
@AgamemnonV2: I've explained it over and over and I'm kinda sick of repeating myself. If you really don't get it, I can't help you.
@AgamemnonV2: That's not the point. Who's winning was never the point. It's how, and with whose votes.
@Goldwings: Really? I remember discussing Kainé's nether regions, too. :D
@BCMelt: It's a sadly overlooked game - I should know, I completely overlooked it until it was on sale on Steam. :/
@hagren: Heh, I was wondering when you'd show up. :)
@LodiGino: I didn't play Halo 1, 2 or ODST, I dropped Halo 3 about 3 hours into it, but for some reason, I really want to play Reach. I've heard many gamers like you say that Reach was surprisingly good even if they didn't like the franchise before. I'm intrigued.
@Goldwings: It may just be my impression, but I think that there are more. At the end of 2010, when the editors published their favourite gaming moments of the year, I remember that Nier was a (relatively) frequent topic in the comments.
@Luke Plunkett: Completely agree about the deep breath, as I admitted myself, but still disagree about the process. :)
@Kermit: No, but if the same few games come up often enough, they'll get an honourable mention, so why not? I wouldn't mind seeing Nier or Heavy Rain get a shout-out.
@AgamemnonV2: The only console-exclusive title is RDR and that's not what I voted for, so I'm not sure how to interpret your comment.
@Bob_Malooga: Yeah, even if it's ME2 that comes out ahead in the end, it will still feel a little empty.
@Mark Oberemk: Yes, do try Nier. I can't guarantee you'll like it, because it's one of those "flawed gems", to use the classic expression, that you may personally adore but still hesitate to recommend.
@70x7brandnew: That was... I hope nobody thinks less of me and my manhood if I shed a tear or two.
@Brian Crecente: Except it's not when one game dwarfs the others in terms of sales.
@Brian Crecente: Oh, come on, that is unbelievably naive*.
@BooneHeadshot: Oh, wow, even better.
