@dr.d-e-m-e-n-t-o: What, you didn't know? Ha, what a loser! I've known for one. whole. day.

@Kotaku Reject: Yes, Mr. Wake is very forgiveable. I probably sounded more negative than I actually feel about the game, but that tends to happen when you focus on the shortcomings. :)
Useless but inevitable.
@Kotaku Reject: Sticking to 2010 games, I'd go with:
@kratos_hates_everyone: Please don't mention the Onza... I'm trying very hard not to buy it considering I already own three 360 controllers.
Oooh, extreme close-up gadget porn, I like it!
All this talk of Fillion... yeah, I think I'm due for another Firefly marathon. Past due, in fact.
@TWiesengrund: Oh, Jayne, such a way with words...
@Jordan White: So true. Any movie project that begins with, "Let's see what stars we can get, worry about the rest later" is going about it ass-backwards.
@mintycrys is on an UBER STREAK!: Agreed. Qos felt very much like the second act of a larger story, not a standalone film like all other Bonds are. It was a necessary part of the tale of "how Bond became Bond", which is essentially what Craig's incarnation is all about.
I wanted to pay attention to the video, but all I could think was: "Trim that nail, trim that fucking nail! It's a video of your thumbs, goddammit, have you no shame?! GAAAH!"
@spilltheink: Oh, thanks, I love carrot cake! I've tried a couple of recipes I found on the web but wasn't completely happy with the results.
@Golgari: Well, I can't technically be "wrong" since I was speaking subjectively (see: "for me").
@The Anti-Fanboy: Well, yes, I thought it was obvious enough, so thanks for your comment.
@Inquartata: Well, the reviews scores for Nier are spread very wide, which puts the game firmly in the "flawed gem", love-it-or-hate-it category.
@Golgari: I was being sarcastic, as The Anti-Fanboy pointed out. I play on the PC, so I'm well aware of what an utter failure Games for Windows is.
@Arnheim: The actual word "hermaphrodite" does not appear in the Western release, but Kainé's story all but spells it out. The other kids bully her because there's something wrong with her body, they say something along the lines of, "why do you pretend that you're a girl anyway?" And I think Tyrann even mentions that…
@Ueziel: Yes, yes they are. They all have a compelling and moving story - Nier and his daughter, of course, but also Emil and his sister, and Kainé, her grandmother and the Aerie.
The second I read "shit hogs", I knew this was Fahey's recap. His review was the reason I bought Nier - I knew I could count on him to show Kainé some love.
