Anyone in the market for a nice pair of gaming headphones for the PC should check out the HS1 from Corsair. They're great with 5.1 and 7.1 games. Just check the reviews, they're overwhelmingly positive.

@mrpriest: Koudelka was good, sort of a survival horror game in the shape of an RPG. Strong atmosphere, original characters and a nice Lovecraftian story, unfortunately spoiled by the combat system - too slow and unexciting, each battle takes ages.
@mrpriest: Shadow Hearts! I absolutely loved the first two (those with Yuri). The third wasn't as good, but the original and Covenant remain among my favourite RPGs of the glorious PS2 era. Very bizarre, zany and unique.
@mrpriest: Yes, Kainé defied every expectation I had about her. I love how the game unveils things about her little by little.
@AndrewRyan: Holysmokesthat'sawesome! I can't think of a better gaming-related news to end 2010 on, even if it's vague and could lead to nothing.
@Cpryd001: But you have to understand: discussing violence in video games through the Lizard trial in Heavy Rain or the disturbing psychological landscapes of Silent Hill is complicated.
@freedomweasel: You took the words right out of my mouth. Uncharted gets mentioned on every single article about Tomb Raider even though the games focus on very different things.
Gorgeous! I can only hope those are not too touched-up and actually represent what we'll be seeing in-game. Keanu Reeves says "whoa..."
Vagrant Story, nice! I jumped back into it when it came out on the PAL PSN a year ago; I'd forgotten just how great it was - and how different from everything else back then (or since).
@diabadass: Except the other 80% explains why you'll still have to pay $38 to Blockbuster - or at least that's what I gather from the comments of people who understand a lot more about the subject than I do.
@zelfmoordkonijn: Ha-ha! xD
@The_Rabbit_of_Caerbannog: Yup, who needs reverse psychology when you've got PETA?
@BattleMoose87: I'm an idiot, I didn't even notice there was a demo. Time to download it, then.
@zelfmoordkonijn: I managed to only re-buy one, Mirror's Edge, with the excuse that I played it two years ago on PS3 and sold my copy since then.
@BattleMoose87: Buy. I bought it during the Halloween sale when it was only 33% off, it's worth every penny/cent if you want a truly scary experience. A real survival horror title if I ever saw one.
It's 7:08 PM, where are my new Steam deals? I need my Steam deals. I... need... NO, I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM!
@Arnheim: Oh, great title... it's all about the title.
@Zac Shipley: I made it a point to say that it wasn't about Wahlberg being a good actor or not. I knew he was good long before The Fighter (see the aforementioned James Gray movies, among others).
@Arnheim: That sounds like a... huh, "interesting" exhibit. Reminds me of a few wankfests I went to back when I lived in Paris. That's the thing with large cities full of museums: you get the very best and the very worst, with art critics/lovers so desperate to "discover" the next Basquiat, Pollock or whomever that…
@PartyUp: He-heh, I'll admit I was kinda thinking of Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence as I was writing that...
