Ironic that you are trying to label me xenophobic or ignorant then, huh?
Safety does include things like the body not flying off while driving down the interstate.
I could care less how this car looks, feels, behaves as much as I do at how it performs in safety tests. I do not trust the Chinese manus to make a safe care OR to be forthcoming with regards to safety issues, etc.
I wanted to see the gas tank explode and carnage.
To keep it on the down low until the second driver is ironed out. I love how Christian Horner revealed the Vettel going to Ferrari...out of anger, I'm sure.
Next season is going to be a great one. Alonso/Ron, Vettel/new President, Nico/Lewis and new life in Renault engines (hopefully).
Just because an engine is dropped off at your doorstep doesn't mean it is fast. Consider a lot of the speed and performance comes from tuning. This is where Merc has the advantage. They know exactly how to tune the engine. They are not sharing that with McL. That is enough to tip the scales.
You mean these aren't from the Pep Boy's Black Friday flyer?
Dallas Houston thinks they should have gone for the Super Devil instead.
The current engines have a very obvious turbo whine. That isn't detectable in this video.
I didn't hear any turbos. Also, I didn't think they were allowed to test at a certified track, only on straight line strips. Can anyone verify that this is really what it says it is?
That entire garage, minus Danica, is batshit crazy. Seriously, they are all bullies to their opponents, the media, an now, their spouses.
Followed by a report that Ron Dennis hangs himself.
that was my initial thought, but I ask the same question when I see some fat ass on tv drops one and claims she never knew she was pregnant.
Poor Romain. He has remained very composed through this very trying year. The frustrating part for me as a fan is that his talent is going to waste since it appears a better team is not looking at him. He should have been awarded Vettel's seat instead of Danny Kyviat.
How will a "start-up" such as Ferrari afford the built in $200M cost of F1?
NASCAR relies on the regular team to draw crowds, pay fees, etc. To let one of the regulars go home on a track that requires absolutely no talent to be fast (and luck) is not showing the same loyalty they ask for in return. In F1, if you are on a team, you show up and you race. You don't go home b/c you can't race…
The fact that Rick Stenhouse was sent home is testament as to how NASCAR F'ed up. How do you send a weekly competitor home in favor of a team that shows up to three races all season?
I know everyone is talking about his head, but did he sustain any other injuries? I haven't seen any report that mentions this. If not, that is pretty incredible. If you have seen the video you are probably imagining the same thing I did...his head came in direct contact with the underside of the crane first. The…
