While yes, China is collectivist (in some ways, but not others...) that particular case with the toddler is claimed to be more about in-group vs out-group. She was supposedly the child of immigrants. It was explained as discrimination.

It’s called dsym-syndrome (didn’t see you mate). And it just means the driver was not paying attention, not that the other person was somehow invisable. I am so glad I don’t live in the US, for many reasons, but being able to cycle on protected paths is one of them.

Oh right! :) Thanks!

Eh, Kellogg pretty much destroyed himself. Ten-year-old rape victims? Punish them! Kids touching themselves and possibly masturbating? Cut off their genitals. I’m not even kidding.

I love Panache, they have an underwire and don’t compress so much, but mostly encase (I guess?). They are very tight, and are very comfortable. Hard to put on because of the tightness, but that pays off when you don’t bounce. Like at all. They have a racerback hook that makes them better for me, more weight on my back

Bands are supposed to be really tight, especially in sports bras, as that’s the place the actual support comes from. :) I found the Panache with underwire to be very tight indeed, but also very supportive and comfortable.

I don’t hate the look so much as the comfort level. The wire sports bra Panache carries is so much more comfortable. My boobs don’t hurt, which is a big plus. :)

My shoulder pain was actually relieved when I closed that racerback hook on my sportsbra. But as Lucky said, the band should be tight, that’s where the support is mostly coming from both in sports bras as in normal bras.

Seconded. I’m a 38H and Panache is no joke. They are a great brand for all larger sizes, but sportsbras are their jam. :)

I have a Panache too and it is VERY comfortable. They claim to have reduced bounce up to 85%, which I don’t know how they measure, but whatever. :P I’m always sure to clip the racerback hook closed since that will give me extra support. In any case, I can work out without pain and that’s a huge bonus.

Yeah, what I was thinking too. Periods do not predict one way or another whether your reproductive system is working. So I don’t get that at all. Seems like BS to me.

And even with periods, there’s no guarantee that everything “is working”. I don’t buy that BS for one second.

As someone with an IUD, for me inserting it was pretty mild (people compared it to VERY HEAVY and painful period cramps, maybe my cramps are really bad, or the IUD really was so easy). The measuring for which IUD would fit was more painful.

My mom had that same problem, so probably some people are prone to more spotting/periods coming through regardless?

IKR! It’s so stupid, I got a comment from a collegue that the boys were looking. Yeah, well, short of chopping them off, there’s not much I can do. The dress code doesn’t specify how low a neckline can go but since my cleavage starts literally an inch below my collarbone (or at the same height, depending on the bra)

The best part is, if you want your big boobs to look smaller, you need to visually have a line run over half of them. IE a neckline. So cleavage. That makes big boobs look smaller. A turtleneck makes them look not only bigger, but also square. Yay. I really do my best to dress “appropriately” but it just sucks. I

If you had put your foot down earlier it might have escalated too. There is no “correct” way to handle situations like this, there just isn’t. Men like these need to learn that the world does not revolve around them.

So you can read his mind? How do you differentiate between people who believe something and not? Personally I don’t really care how sincere someone’s belief is. If there are facilities available for other religions, as soon as a new religion/person requests new facilities for that particular religion they need to be

It is not the judge’s job to judge someone’s religion or how serious that person is about that religion. If someone says they are a christian and require a way to go to some sort of church on a sunday they would most likely be accomodated if it’s at all possible. How sincere or valid the beliefs are is not in question

I really love the reaction of papers in England on the potatoe blight in Ireland, suffering children! Starving mothers! Sickly babies! Who look so pretty and cherublike in drawings of the events. XD Dying but OHSOPRETTY. :P Same idea here I guess, as long as everyone is suffering and dying while pretty you’re okay,
