Wow that is ridiculous. No one remembers things in perfect chronological order when you take an initial statement. No one. My work is very different to investigating sexual assault, but it still relies a lot on witness evidence.

100% this. As an outsider who works vaguely in law enforcement in anothe jurisdiction, it seems to me that the problem with policing in the US runs much deeper than just the way victims are handled.

That guy is so goddamn charming I would watch any reality Tv show with him in it.

I would tweet that request to Groban because I feel like he would actually do that.

I guess they could always work out someone’s average weekly earnings for the previous year. I don't really see this as a major hurdle, other countries make it work somehow.

But have you considered The Fall

Yes, although Gillian Anderson.

She’s so fantastic in Galavant. Hope they manage to fit in at least one more Gwynne/Chef duet before the end of this season.

My current favourite HP alumnus is Luke Youngblood (aka Lee Jordan) in Galavant. That winning smile, those pipes!

Higher than I thought, actually.

Grown up Simba, for sure. And the big purple guy from Gargoyles. Also Aladdin, and you know you would too!

Sixth Sense was also a really good movie, to be fair.

Right, others who worked on The Matrix were nominated but not Lana directly in any of those categories, so you're right it probably doesn't count.

I thought so too but it turns out she hasn't. Doesn't seem right.

Me too. I was sure the Wachowski siblings had been nominated for something for the first Matrix movie, even “just” in one of the technical categories. Nada.

Love Nightvale. It doesn't have a huge amount in the way of plot, though that does develop over time, I just love the characters and the utter weirdness.

Yeah I cannot catch up with Nightvale, and I'm going to a live show in a few weeks. Hopefully it won't matter that I'm about 20 eps behind!

I once caught the bouquet at a wedding. I was 14 and felt a bit sorry for all the other ladies there, who were all at least in their 20s. 16 years later and I’m still not married, sorry those ladies!

*sigh* how often I've heard this from my colleagues. And then suddenly our employer started chipping away at our conditions and those people are so shocked and surprised. (Full disclosure: I'm my office union delegate)
