I’m not remotely scared of creatures here, despite living in croc country. Except snakes. Fuuuuuuck snakes.

Cane toads are everywhere up here in North Queensland. My mum picks them up with tongs and chucks them over the fence.

Hey! I live in Cairns and used to live in Toronto. I went back to Toronto for Christmas a couple of years ago and HATED the cold (it was polar vortex type cold) so much that I vowed to never return in winter, so I agree that the hot Chrissy is better.

Stinking hot and humid. I haven’t had the a/c off for days. I would love a white Christmas, so I’m going to live vicariously through all the snow posts here.

Smaller plate sizes is a great idea. I do tend to eat quite large amounts. I love trying new recipes which is why I’ve waited for my holidays to start this diet as I don’t have the time or energy during the school week. Thanks for all the tips!
