I have started the new year by stepping up my Netflix game and doing squats while watching Making a Murderer.

Christmas Day was yesterday here, it was just mum, the cat and me so it was quiet and easy and pretty stress-free. Didn’t hear from the evil ex which was a relief. Now to go to the beach for a swim, avoid the Boxing Day crowds and enjoy the cricket. Merry Christmas, everybody!

After my very difficult past two months, I went down to Melbourne to stay with a friend. We visited a sanctuary for farm animals. Here are some of my new friends.

It never ceases to amaze me how vulnerable kids that age are. Some of my students do the craziest things for attention. Makes me worry so much for them.
