Why stop there? I count five other aspects of the flag code this thing violates:

Again working from memory, but I think Wayne Weaver's wife had a hand in designing it. And the head logo wasn't that bad, but the team kept changing uniforms every year. They re-branded themselves into oblivion.

You are correct. IIRC, Jacksonville had to change the logo because the Jaguar car company complained about it looking too much like their logo. It was changed to the jaguar head before the team actually took the field, but not before a ton of merchandise had been made. So it had to be 1993 or 1994.

Yes, it's in the video at about :15.

According to the announcing team, that's what it was.

Anyone who can get 100 meters in QWOP deserves respect. An image suggesting that Dan Snyder could do it is probably the nicest thing anyone's ever said about him.

That's hilarious.

Best fantasy team name I've ever heard of: "Harvey Updyke Botanical Society."

Yeah, my first thought watching the clip was "are any of those six guys gonna turn around and at least get in that way of the one guy chasing him?"

I love how it takes the runner three looks to realize the flame is out. First he just moves his eyes in that direction as if to check, then sort of glances at it, then full-blown alarmed head turn.

Manchester United. They're sort of the Dallas Cowboys or New York Yankees of English soccer.

The gameplay of Star Control II is pretty basic. The fun part is interacting with the various races and learning the history of the galaxy. Every character has its own backstory full of delightful little details that you can discover, all of which add up to what feels like a realistic universe. An incredibly
