If Iran uses a single nuke on Israel they pretty much guarantee that Israel will systematically reduce each and every Iranian city to rubble using the sizable Israeli nuclear arsenal. I just don't see it happening.

I agree. Gamma radiation is pure electromagnetic radiation and I don't see how it would create out of focus white streaks on a camera detector. If the radiation was triggering individual pixels on the detector you would expect hard edged flashes of light.
