It’s not the fact they think they can win, it’s the fact they want other people to think of them as martyrs before they’ve actually done anything to earn that designation.
I’m standing here on my front porch. This porch kind of became famous through the governor’s run and became famous when I was speaking on nonsense.
It’s already working on me, even if unspoken by the candidates. For a good part of my adult life I generally wouldn’t know when the primaries even were.
Asshole knows how the law works, thinks his audience doesn’t, and is happy to make every knock at a door a potential murder in order to get a little attention. I hope cops realize he’s stabbing them in the back here.
They really say, yes women should be forced to carry dead babies or die due to a eptopic pregnancy and then vote for them. They’ve got women vomiting on the stand and they’re laughing about it.
Wah!!!! I swear Republicans are some of the biggest crybabies.
Another dumb redneck piece of shit fundamentally misunderstands what the 2nd Amendment actually fucking means...story at 11.
If these assholes were being honest, they’d stop acting shocked that their highly unpopular theocratic position on abortion gets taken to the woodshed every time voters have a fair shot to decide. I’d like to see them move past that and flat out say that they need to consolidate white power and aggressively suppress…
Hannity doesn’t know the truth because he lives in a reality where the only ‘real vote’ is one that supports what he believes.
You summed up my religious experience in a nutshell.

Political parties, in the US two-party system at least, need to be able to figure out how to sell their hardline single-issue voters on compromise. Because the general public doesn’t tend to congregate at the fringes, they congregate at the middle and while parties need their bases at some point catering to those…
Reminder as if anyone needs it that Republicans know their policies in general are not popular, and that’s why they usually focus on things like raising the voting age, making it harder to vote, securing and maintaining power without the need for voters, etc. Voters are an obstacle to the Republican goal of total…
republicans know that the “policies” they have are garbage and that a majority of Americans hate them. That’s why republicans do everything they can to make voting difficult if not impossible.
“You guys didn’t heave enough buckets of bullshit at the wall to stick and make it easier for us to rule the common rabble. Why aren’t you simply saying ‘I know God personally and he told me you are going to hell for having free thought?’” is probably what Hannity is trying to convey. He knows exactly what the people…
Yeah, I think the more clearly they explain their position, the more people reject it. Republicans seem to do best when they lie about their positions.
the funniest part of this remains that his hair loss doctor wrote an impassioned letter to the judge saying he shouldn’t go to jail because he’s helped people deal with their own hair loss.
This is a reminder that the South as a whole, and individual states, are not a monolith of their people. Language such as this demonizes the entire, rather than those who are rightfully deserving of their monikers.
Someone should kick his ass, pure and simple. He won’t learn anything from the experience, but sometimes karma requires a little help.
