It seems absolutely unreal to me - a man - that this article needed to be written. I managed to purchase one at midnight last night at my local Walmart. Got there at 10 PM, there were already two people ahead of me. They only got 6 consoles in, so countless people got turned away, several of whom showed up at 11:55 PM pissed off that they couldn’t get one.

I haven’t measured exactly, but the 2.4 GHz band definitely exceeds 100' in my experience. It also has great vertical range. I live on the third floor of my apartment complex, and I now get pretty strong WiFi in the first floor lobby. My old TP-Link router couldn’t supply a connection even on the second floor.

If it’s true that the dimensions of the pool fluctuate slightly with ambient / water temperature, would it matter if the tolerances were smaller? If the pool is going to expand / contract anyway, those tolerances would be thrown off regardless. Perhaps they would be thrown off less?
