I started off taking every single side quest i could find, talking to everyone in Whiterun etc etc. Now im mostly just focused on trying to do all the guild/clan stuff, done with most of them, working on dark brotherhood and daedric quests right now. Once i have those 'done' then i will swing back to main storyline…

I can agree with that for sure. As for the remake/sequel bit, as awesome as a remake would be, square wont do it. Continuing on the story, if possible, would be a closer bet.

You have to understand - FFVII is seen by many as one of the best videogames ever created. It wont go away until Square finally caves and does a sequel :)
