I have a friend who works with victims of child sexual assault. You would be hard pressed to find a child in the sex trade who went into it without an abuser of some kind pimping them. Yes, there are starving children looking for food, maybe even shoplifting. That is often what makes them vulnerable to abusers.

To clarify, I used that as an example to show why anything but avocados in guacamole is bad. I do not endorse chickpea-less hummus. It is wrong on so many levels.

It reminds me of all the variations on hummus (edamame, white bean, etc). If accept one, you have to accept the others. It is a slippery slope. I know we are all supposed to start eating fewer avocados because of the geo-politics surrounding them, but guac is not the place to cut back.

Reports are now saying they are remodeling the house and that is why the trucks were there- moving furniture to storage while the house is torn up.
