As a kid, I always loved the part where the creepy music at the beginning would segue into the heroic, upbeat theme. It was like, okay, it's a big scary world out there, with lake monsters, Bigfoots, and ancient astronauts, but don't worry, Spock's got this.

I loved "In Search of..." when I was a kid. I couldn't separate Nemoy from Spock, and his calm (logical) voice made it all more believable.

As a teenager, home alone, I randomly clicked on to it as they were announcing that a nuclear bomb had gone off in a major American city. The verisimilitude the creators brought to it sent me into a panic for some moments; I didn't recognize…

I always liked "Special Bulletin." It won 4 Emmys. I have always been amazed that a situation like this has never happened for real.

Oh! I forgot about that one. It was great! Even if a city got nuked.
