When I first started playing XCOM: Enemy Unknown, I kept getting my ass handed to me and didn’t know why. Finally, I figured out that it was a matter of not knowing what I didn’t know—and what I didn’t know was small-unit combat tactics. Read up on those a bit, then try again.
