What's with all the Jar Jar hate?

While I have a major problem with evangelical tendencies that certain atheist factions have, along with misogyny rampant among most every skeptic circle, I don't agree with this statement at all:

You're ignoring the entire POINT of the case. The whole point of this - and what her attorneys argued - is that we should be moving towards class-based affirmative action, not race-based affirmative action.
