To add to your list, Darklurker also was one of the greatest bosses of DS2. I know some people might call it cheap, but I actually liked the fight against the Ancient Dragon, and the new bosses from the DLC are actually great in my opinion.

I've been playing games all my life but it's only happened with the Gameboy Pokemons. Never with any other game, not even with other Gameboy games. It was worst when trying to sleep :(
This happened to me a lot when playing Pokemon Red. As soon as I turned off the Gameboy, I would keep hearing the sound of the soundtrack of the Pokemon game.

Heck, even Dark Souls 2 has voice chat now and in 333 hours of gameplay (just checked) I think I've found only one person using it. Is just better to taunt opponents with a parry, riposte, kill and then Praise the Sun :)
No other spell (miracles, spell, pyromancy or hex) hurt the host (and yourself) besides Lifedrain Patch, which is why some trolls use it when being summoned to Co-OP. I stopped using Hexer's hood while Co-OPing with my faith build because when I tried to heal people some actually thought I was about to cast Lifedrain…
Some people don't even look at the people they summon.

I haven't watched the anime, but the manga explains their creation very well, and why they are the only thing capable od destroying the Gauna.

I think you're getting it wrong, you're blaming parents for being inattentive of what their kids play, I mean why should parents care about what their children do at all, when OBVIOUSLY it's the videogames fault for making kids more violent and prone to follow a life of crime and drugs and stuff.

Tomorrow, DS2 gets patched. Really eager to see how this changes the metagame.
Depending on how buffed they are, I might change from using the Defender Greatsword to the Old Dragonslayer Spear.
