I just started New Game + for the whole reason of getting those abilities (so far, so good). What I loved about BD is that you can go trough the game at your own pace, and grind when absolutely necessary.
This is all the troll you need:
Just imagine how good their Dark Souls II review is gonna be XD.
Be sure, it will at least have local multiplayer. Dunno about online, but seeing how Monster Hunter 4U will have it and it's a game for 3DS, it might be possible too.
It's a great game and deserves the success it's getting. One of the best JRPG experiences I've had in years, with great music, great bosses and one epic Final Boss Fight.
I want to know about that (@_@)
If you need convincing, this review might help:
Ok, even I got to accept this is pretty nice for all those whom followed the first "Twitch plays Pokémon", even thoug I was tired of all the "helix memes" and "democracy/anarchy" stuff that came with that packet.
I don't have a PS3, so I can only wait. Luckily I'll get the PC collector's edition, so that's consolation enough for now...
The lament of PC players, waiting for their Dark Souls II fix every time a new Kotaku article appears talking about how good of a time console players are having with the game...
Actually, repeating those steps makes the ending even have more sense. I actually thought, as way to conduct the narrative, it was a good enough way to do it, because that extra grinding really prepares you for a boss that, if you fight under leveled, will decimate you in one punch.
As Jason said, you got one ending, but to get the "true" ending, the more satisfying ending, you have to prepare to "rinse and repeat" through chapters 5-8.
I wouldn't say the last 4 chapters are that bad. Sure, tedious, but cannot understand why some people declared they quit the game after chapter 4 (probably they were joking). The "true" ending had awesome boss fights like few that I've ever seen, and finishing the game took away all the frustration of the last…
I would love to try this by the time Dark Souls II gets released for PC, since I heard the pad is more ergonomic and comfortable.
Be warned, I'm gonna use that image somehow...
Stats matter, and choosing them dramatically affects what weapons, magic and equipment you can use. Different play styles call for different builds. Attunement, faith and intelligence are useful stats for casters, depending on what branch of magic you want to focus on and how many spell slots you need. Strength and…
I would've loved to know how to get Mew though, without the use of GameShark...
