You forget that these players are gonna get cuts off merchandising and competition prize pools on top of their salary. Some of these players have been contracted for 100k+ per year and will see these numbers go up over time. Any smart person would use that money to invest elsewhere, banking them potential millions.

Letting your child pursue money and dreams during his prime years as an eSports athlete.. yea sounds like a terrible parent to me.. god forbid you let your kid make millions of dollars doing what they love and setting themselves up for financial stability for the rest of their lives.

A few years could earn you millions. Enough to set you up with a bright future with whatever you want to do. You’re completely right that his career won’t last long, but it doesn’t matter.. he’s going to make lots of money and make the rest of his life that much easier. He may even go on to coach future eSports talent

It’s the history behind the core lineup of EnvyUs players. They have consistently beat Korean teams on their home turf during the Apex tournaments and have been playing together for years. Right now they are trying to build synergy around their 3 new players xQc, Seagull and Custa. They are still even

Dallas is still experimenting. They know they are gonna make the playoffs so they have room to breathe right now. Don’t worry.. Dallas is still the #2 team in the league.

Fuckboi camping lel.

I’m really glad Fortnite exists. Really helps weed out the casuals from PUBG.

Great thing about the PS Vita, PS1 games! Castlevania is a permanent fixture on my installed games pages.

Next season you will be! All teams are required to secure an arena in their hometown for travelling matches.

Season 2 all teams will be required to secure an arena. They are even providing English lessons to non English speaking players. This will happen soon enough, don’t give up hope yet.

This is only for the first season. Expect to see this kind of stuff next season. :)

You’re completely right.. they don’t need to be regional teams. I don’t think the people that fall in love with the OWL will even care about regions.. it’s all about star players at the end of the day.

These guys practice for 8+ hours a day every single day.. which even includes physical exercises to stay mentally healthy. They are the best at what they do and their skill reflects intelligence on top of mechanical skill. These are athletes in every respect.

You sound like a shitty parent, and alot of these professional Overwatch players had parents just like you... except now they are making 10x more than you. eSports aren’t going to make your kids fat and lazy.. your shitty parenting will do that.

They will have their own arena in season 2-3. Only for the 1st season are the games being held in LA.

Fusion may be the only Philly team to actually win games consistently.

They are recruiting teenagers and young adults. They don’t give a shit about traditional sports fans.. that isn’t their demographic. OWL will be successful and so will the Philly Fusion.. unlike other Philly teams.

Philly is my underdog team. They have a great roster, a great logo, a great name, solid colors and an amazing hometown for brand loyalty. It’s so hard to pick a team when all of your favorite players are so spread out across all the teams. Right now I’ve got #1 Seoul, #2 Dallas, #3 Philly.

No matter how hard you rub your dick inbetween your wifes chub no genie is gonna make her look better than my girlfriend. Stick with your beer and mustard stains Bob.

It was an amazing opening night for the OWL. So many amazing plays, and to top it off, we got to see the best NA team vs the best Korean team and it was nail biting close... I didn’t expect to see myself oohing, awing, and yelling at the screen. Once Dallas works out the new player synergy among the core of EnVy
