Every time I read about them I have to think about Tina and Amy’s joke at the Golden Globes:

Diana, I just want to say thank you for this reporting and all your reporting on this subject. While the boycott was happening and when the report was released, I was just waiting for your write-up to help make sense of it all.

Your work is tremendous. I hope you have something less heinous to write about than sexual crimes soon, because it must be crushing.

Diana, your work is incredible and important and thank you.

Even we childless people think this was a shitty thing to do. There’s also his kid, whom he was holding during this tirade. Don’t make your child watch you behave like a dick.

Diana, you’re strong AF.

.... haven’t pulled this one out in a while, but; Dear Mr. Lasner and Dear Husband of Mr. Lasner,

Don’t lament how this will affect poor and isolated women and out the other side of your mouth heckle the state and tell the rest of us to leave while we can - some of us here are in a prime position to help, and bailing hurts those women even more.

This this this!! I moved to Austin 7 months ago for grad school, and honestly, I am overwhelmed by how much I’ve grown to love it so quickly. I love being on the front line of progress, getting to be involved in movements for things like reproductive justice, black lives matter, etc., in a place that absolutely needs

Preach. Last SXSW some white prick from NY was lecturing me, drunkenly, while munching on a DELICIOUS taco from the fucking truck I recommended to him, that I need to “get out” of Texas, away from the “racism.” Like, dude, I can do more good HERE and besides, why would I want to go to a place full of people like you?

It’s not just the food, which is glorious. I never expected I’d be happy in TX when I moved here for work, but it’s really the people and all the subcultures that I was never able to find anywhere else I lived. And, dammit, people here are friendly.

Thank you. I feel like I’m down here fighting to make this state even more purple than it’s already becoming and, in addition to dealing with our shitty politicians, everyone else is shitting on us too. INCLUDING some of those from states that *ahem* went red (or nearly red) in this recent presidential election for

No, no, no. More liberals need to move to Texas. It’s purple; turn it blue!

I live in Texas. You are commenting on something that you know very little about. That’s typically not a cool idea. Planned Parenthood typically allows walk-ins for most services (in all of the cities I’ve lived in, that’s the case), AND a lot of are open on Saturdays. You trying working the lowest of the low income

Can we please narrow the hate towards the Texas GOP and not the entire state? The rest of us are trying our best here and we’re not giving up the fight. We’re not giving up this state to the fucktards. Give us a shout out, please.

NASA, TexMex, Gene Roddenberry, Buddy Holly, Cyd Charisse, Carol Burnett, etc? This shit pisses me off tremendously, but don’t cast such a wide net of hate or else you come off sounding like the evil fucks who are trying to shove their noses in everyone’s reproduction.

For upper income women, it’s a D&C, not that awful abortion.

Because poor women make lawmakers feel better about themselves. Lawmakers can look at poor women and blame all negative circumstances and outcomes on those women and not the system that failed. Lawmakers get to pat themselves on the back for doing nothing to help.

Ann and Cecile Richards.

Can someone please explain to me why people believe Sandy Hook (and others) did NOT happen?? What is the point of the denial?
