Have you tried Clinique's eye makeup remover? I found it to be very similar to MK.

My apartment complex, who until now never used to host resident events, now has pink flyers posted in common areas inviting residents to a "spa night." Turns out it's being put on by an MK consultant, which is what I suspected, but you'll only find that in the fine print. I don't know if I'd be so bothered by it if…
Ditto on the eye makeup remover, but I've found Clinique's to be very similar and have thus replaced it.
The only thing of theirs I had any real success with (back when I was in high school and bought it from a lady at my church, my how things change) was the eye makeup remover.
Yes. That's his fabulous cousin Charl-it. Like Charlotte. Haha. I'll see myself out.
I am now craving Sbarro.
A coworker of mine used to compete in Miss American circuit pageants for exactly that - scholarship money. And the objective was absolutely to place but not to win for exactly the reasons you listed.
Good point. I've been losing patience with Tara too, but I don't want to. I was really excited when she was traveling around and doing the boxing thing - finally she had her own identity and it was awesome to watch her shake some of the bad luck and develop into a badass. I'm hoping that can happen again.
The lady directly between them the next row back just looks exasperated. Like, "ok, I think we're finished here."
I've never been interested in Hunger Games enough to read the books or see the movie, but I might have to hop on the bandwagon now.
This is good to know. Mr. Wisdom and I have never wanted children, and despite everyone with kids around telling us that "your clock will go off one of these days and children are all you'll want" and "you'll grow out of that" - we still don't want them. We're not evil babyhaters. We just don't want to be parents. And…
Austin has decent public transportation (especially compared to everywhere else I've lived), but I can see at least keeping your license current, even if you don't keep your car. In a pinch, you can at least use a rental car service, borrow someone's car, or use a car outpost like Car2Go if you absolutely need to.
I also like having print magazines around, at least for the ones I really like to read. I can't take a tablet or laptop into the pool for my Sunday lay-on-the-floaty-and-read-a-magazine time.
Side note: RIP Meow the Cat. Poor little (big) guy.
Same. I love renting. Plus, if I see something I like better, it's a lot easier to obtain it - wait for lease to end, pack up, move. I'm a fan of the flexibility.
The news was, but it almost made some of the snark extra funny.
I know I've said this like five times already, but Lindy West dirtbags are my FAVORITE dirtbags. Everything is a zinger.
The California Dreams theme song is now stuck in my head, and probably will be for the rest of the day.
I used to fall asleep on the living room floor watching Nick at Nite as a kid. I loved Mary Tyler Moore. I had a lot more patience for I Love Lucy back then (and all the Lucy shows, really, because all three of them were on back-to-back after Snick on Saturday nights). My small town didn't have the Disney channel and…
Blacklight poster comparison for Jacqueline Woods' dress is spot on. I can see someone wanting to get high and hang out with that dress.
